Over the last few years I have conducted a number of weddings for family, friends, people in our church and in our community. The idea behind this page is to give you some info to think through if you are considering using me as your celebrant. Below is a list of services;
- Wedding Preparation: A survey called PREPARE (Click here for more info) designed to build a good foundation for your marriage. Usually goes for about 4 weeks. The survey will cost you $50.00. Leanne (My Wife) is also available to sit in on the sessions too. This provides an insightful females’ perspective.
- I will help you put together your wedding ceremony. What I usually say to people is, “I am a pastor so it would be really good if I am able to pray for you and also refer to the bible. After all marriage is God’s idea and he has some pretty revolutionary things to say about love and marriage.” I’m usually pretty relaxed and to the point. My goal is to serve your dreams for the day. I will email you examples of vows, ceremonies that I have done as well as a list of bible readings.
- Complete all of the paperwork.
- So how much do I cost? Well that sort of depends on how much you think I’m worth. We usually ask for a gift. (Weddings do take time to prepare!) I will chat to you about this when we meet.
